Warhammer 30k: Liber Mechanicum Teaser – FTN
The week we talk about all things GenCon, and the latest releases – Liber Mechanicum, Kill Team Live – and more.
Back on track with an on time release this week. We start by talking a little bit about GenCon and how cool it is to be around all of those games. Of course we talk about Games Workshop’s presence there and all the cool things you can do over the course of the weekend with all the Warhammer stuff.
One of the coolest things about the Heresy is the ability to play whatever force you want for whatever side you want. This edition has just been Marine on Marine so far but NOT ANYMORE! The Liber Mechanicum is up for order today and we give a little teaser for it.
If you have done Kill Team Live yet I fully endorse you making time for it if you’re ever presented with the opportunity to do so. It’s an immersive experience and tons of fun. If you’re a Warhammer+ subscriber it’s one of the things you can do for FREE too.
In the second part of the show we talk about stress painting – or event driven painting as the case may be. Whatever it takes to get those battle ready figures on the table.
I’ve had some models on my desk for a LONG time and through some encouragement from recording this show I’m back to painting them. It’s easy to get stuck at the ‘my models look like crap stage’ but remember everyone gets there and having confidence in yourself and your process is critical to get over this hump. One brush stroke at a time.

FTN mostly focuses on Warhammer 40k. But you will see that in the first few episodes, we take a severe deep dive into nerdom. These have been a blast to record, and I hope they help pass the time for you. Please please please check out the new Forge The Narrative objective markers. These things look awesome. Ordering a set is a good way to support one of our sponsors AND the show. Find them here.
