Warhammer 40K: Khorne Daemons Are Coming To Take Heads
Heads will roll with the upcoming Khorne Daemons from Codex: Chaos Daemons. Take a look at these rules updates!
When it comes to decapitation antics the Khorne Daemons are the top of the class. There’s never been a skull they didn’t like to take and seeing as how they don’t care where it comes from everyone is on the chopping block. With the upcoming Codex for Chaos Daemons they are getting some upgrades and updates to match.
“The daemons of Khorne are warp-fuelled manifestations of rage and violence that love nothing more than to kick about the galaxy, slaughtering all who stand in their way while collecting skulls aplenty for the Lord of Murder.”
Khorne Daemons
For completeness sake, here’s the new Bloodletter stats. We saw these earlier when we learned how their new Daemon Saves would work.
Again, that extra point of strength and toughness will help along side that extra attack. But they aren’t the only daemons getting updated either…
The Flesh Hounds are faster, stronger, and have more attacks. Plus they are rocking that same 5+/4+ save. Again, the first save is vs melee attacks while the second is vs ranged attacks. Oh, and these updated Flesh Hounds also have a new rule to play with their food:
How about a closer look at a Character like the Skulltaker?! Sure — why not:
For starters, he’s a head-hunting character killer and has both re-rolls to hit and wound against characters. If he does manage to slay an enemy character his ability range grows in strength by 3″ — up to a max of 12″.
And then there’s Lord of Decapitations which is that ability that gets bigger. It’s a flat +1 to hit for Bloodletters Core units within range. And as you see above, the Bloodletters were already hitting on 3+. That’s gonna be pretty spicy in melee! Now, combine that with Frenetic Bloodlust and what those heads get lopped off:
Codex: Chaos Daemons is coming soon. The Daemons of Khorne are going to be out for blood!
