Wonder how the Sons of Behemat are going to stomp all over the place? Check out the Table of Contents to get your first clues.

Games Workshop has released an image of the Table of Contents for the Sons of Behemat Battletome. Now we have confirmation about what exactly is on the way from the new book.

“The new book is beefier than before, with all the rules you need to field your army alongside a giant-sized lore section, which tells the history of the gargants from the Age of Myth right through to the current Era of the Beast.”

Inside the covers we can see there are now 4 types of Mega-Gargants. One “flavor” for each of the 4 Grand Alliances.

We also have the confirmation for King Brodd, although we already knew that he was on the way as well.

King Brodd

“With new and updated warscrolls and two faction-specific core battalions, the battletome opens up new ways to play your big, beautiful behemoths. For the gargant-curious, there are rules to add one flavour of Mega-Gargant to each of the four Grand Alliances, so everyone can join in the Realm-stomping fun.”

I’m sure we’re going to get more looks at some of those faction specific Allegiance Abilities. I’m also curious about their respective warscrolls and what sorts of updates they are getting. And what about the old Gargants? It looks like you can take them as a Mancrusher Mob — I’m hoping they get a little love in the new book.

The new Battletome is coming soon and we’ll have to wait and see all the big changes coming. I wonder if we’re going to get some points changes so that Sons of Behemat players can field more variations of the lists. These massive monsters have quite the points cost so it’s rather limiting when it comes to list construction. It’s a similar situation with the 40k Knights. I’m guessing the “fix” will just be more variation in the types of Mega-Gargants in the future.

What are you looking forward to in the upcoming Sons of Behemat Battletome?
