After a massively successful Kickstarter, the Blade Runner RPG has been making its way out to the masses. And soon, even if you didn’t back the game on Kickstarter, you’ll get to try out the system for yourself. Free League recently gave their Blade Runner RPG Starter Set a release date of November 2022.

The Blade Runner RPG Starter Set – Electric Dreams
The Blade Runner RPG Starter Set is a boxed collection that gathers together everything you need to start learning the game. You’ll get a “condensed rulebook” aka quickstart rules, pre-generated characters, and a full-length Case File, Electric Dreams.
Electric Dreams is the centerpiece of the Blade Runner RPG Starter Set. Not only does this show new GMs what a Case File should look like, but it also immerses you in the world, thanks to a number of physical handouts.
You’ll find everything from newspaper articles, to dossiers on important NPCs. Just look at the components above for an idea of what to expect.
This set wants to capture the gritty, rain-soaked feel of being in Blade Runner’s world. You’ll have documents to pore over for clues. Or find details that make you wonder about your characters’ own connections to the world. Of course, you can also pick up the core book as well if you want to expand on the Starter Set’s adventure.
