Ogor Mawtribes are getting some much needed and appreciated updates with their next Battletome. Come get a taste from their rules buffet.

The next Battletome slated for release is the Ogor Mawtribes book. This new Battletome promises some great changes ahead for these massive gluttons. Expect them to come out swinging with even more improvements.

“Mawtribe armies are built around a core of ravenous Gluttons and indomitable Ironguts. These brutish Gutbusters have clearly been eating plenty of protein and forcing down their greens – orruks, not veggies – and it’s left them hungrier than ever. “

The standard weapons of the Ogor Gluttons now have a 2″ range. That extra range should come in handy as it will allow for even more attacks to get dumped on their foes in melee now. Considering their current base size, it’s only going to be a benefit for them and I’m sure Ogor Mawtribe players are thinking “it’s about time!”

Ogor Ironguts already had an ability called “Down to the Ironguts” but now it’s getting a slight rework. This ability now allows them to swing a second time in combat once per game!

Now, they will have that side effect of striking last with the second bashing…but these meaty boys can take a hit and they’ll swing back.

If you were a fan of Mournfang Packs then you’re in luck because they just got a bit hardier against ranged attacks. They are now Linebreakers.

Both of these effects are going to help this unit get into combat and, well, break some lines! Not even Unleashing Hell on them will slow them down (too much).

The Thundertusks also got a nice ability to use as a Monstrous Rampage. They are bringing the Chill of the Everwinter with them.

Charge them in there and force the enemy to strike last for that round on a 3+ die roll. I like that option.

There’s more meat on those bones in the new Battletome. Get ready for the feast when the Ogor Mawtribes arrive!
