One of the iconic horror games is back, remade for the modern era. The Silent Hill 2 remake will bring new horrors to the PS5 and PC.
Silent Hill 2 is one of those games that lingers in the memory. A fog of restless dreams and waking nightmares that haunts you, years after playing it. One of the seminal horror games out there, Silent Hill 2 showed gamers what you can do with the genre, and why you shouldn’t play video games alone in the dark. It either frightened you to the core.
Or the point went over your head and you realized that Pyramid Head is cool.
Either way, Silent Hill 2 Remake will take you back to the place that started it all. Well. That continued it all. It seems to remain an inarguable truth that Silent Hill will only ever be available on the original PlayStation. Which is probably fine. Some games are too terrifying to be played in anything other than 240p.

Having received a letter from his deceased wife, James heads to where they shared so many memories, in the hope of seeing her one more time: SILENT HILL.
There, by the lake, he finds a woman eerily similar to her… “My name…is Maria,” the woman smiles.
Her face, her voice… She’s just like her.
This is what fans have been hoping for for a long time. The original Silent Hill 2 came out back in 2001. And now that it’s old enough to drink it’s being brought back.
The folks at Bloober Team, developers of The Medium, are working on it. The question remains, will they be able to modernize the more than two-decade old game? While also satisfying the most rabid fans? Hopes are high:
