LEGO Ideas wants to celebrate 50 years of Dungeons & Dragons by turning your campaign into a LEGO set, brick by brick.

LEGO and Dungeons & Dragons go very well together, as anyone who grew up during the days when it was hard to find miniatures, but easy to find LEGO Castle minifigs can tell you. If you want that ultimate 90s nostalgia, picture a dungeon sketched out on graph paper with LEGOs helping to fill out the map, representing monsters, and more.

Now, LEGO and D&D are officially teaming up to celebrate 50 years of D&D.

D&D and LEGO Ideas – 50 Years Of Imagination

The latest LEGO Ideas submissions are open. And LEGO is working with WotC to bring your D&D campaign to life. Fans are invited to submit custom LEGO designs inspired by their games. LEGO wants to see your favorite “storylines, monsters, characters, heroes, and locations.”

Now’s your chance to take your favorite table tale and transform it into a LEGO set. Fans will be able to submit their creations from now until Nov. 14th, with winners potentially seeing their creations transform into a LEGO IDEAS set:

Join us in celebrating 50 years of Dungeons & Dragons! To celebrate those 50 adventure-filled years, we invite you to ignite your imagination and showcase your favorite aspects of the Dungeons & Dragons game using LEGO® bricks, elements, and pieces!

Excitingly, all designs that reach the Fan Vote phase, will be eligible to become an official LEGO IDEAS set! Unlike typical LEGO Product Idea submissions, the Fan Vote phase for this promotion, which runs from November 28th 2022 to December 12th 2022, is intended to help the Judges gauge fan interest in specific designs, and validate fan excitement for the theme. The Judges will ultimately choose which model from the Fan Vote phase will become a LEGO IDEAS set, regardless of the number of Fan Votes obtained, although lots of votes certainly helps! Once the final model is selected by our panel of Judges, the fan who submitted the design will have the pleasure of becoming our latest Fan Designer!

Winners not only get to see their visions realized. They also get to profit from the sales to the tune of 1% of the total net sales of the resulting set. As well as “a prize package of D&D goodies.”
