‘The Boys’ Season 4: First Look at the New Supes
Our first look at Sister Sage and Firecracker – the new supes in The Boys Season 4 – in their badass super suits is here.
News has dropped about the new season has been thin. We know that Cameron Crovetti (who plays Homelander‘s son, Ryan) is being bumped to series regular. And that Jeffery Dean Morgan‘s schedule finally lined up for a cameo. In August two new cast members were announced.
Some S4 supe news for ya. Join us congratulating our favorite lad Cameron Crovetti on his promotion to series regular, and give a warm Boys family welcome to @susanheyward as Sister Sage and @valoriecurry as Firecracker. pic.twitter.com/mgFQLx8IBs

New Supes in The Boys Season 4
They’re filming in Toronto right now so it’s time for some first looks at the new cast. Photos of two of the new supes that appear in the next season have been shared. Susan Heyward as Sister Sage and Valorie Curry as Firecracker. Not much is known about them. The studio has stated that details “will be kept under wraps until the season airs.” Neither character crosses over with the comics or the spin-off, so we’ll have to wait to see where their allegiances lie and what kind of diabolical schemes they’ll be a part of.
Last season ended with Homelander claiming his son and Butcher finding out that his use of Temp V is killing him. The two enemies are going into the new season with different views of the world. Butcher’s knowledge makes him care even less about his own survival and more about his personal vendetta. Homelander’s newfound parenthood makes him actually care about something.
The familiar crew is returning – Karl Urban, Antony Starr, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, and Karen Fukuhara. A release date hasn’t been set, but I’d expect summer next year.
