We’ve seen a LOT of Rumor Engines over the years but these are 4 we’re still waiting to be revealed — what’s going on with them?

It’s pretty common knowledge that GW does the Rumor Engines on Tuesdays. We’ve been covering them for a long time now. We even do check-ins every month for Rumor Engines from the previous year. But that still doesn’t cover ALL the Rumor Engines that are still floating around out there. Here’s a few of the older ones that still have us waiting/scratching our collective heads.

The Oldest Unrevealed Rumor Engines

‘Death Valley Decor’ 4-7-2020

Initially, I thought that this was from the (upcoming at the time) Sons of Behemat. Turns out…nope. This Rumor Engine is still MIA and we have no idea what the heck it is. It’s over 2 years old at this point…

‘We’ve All Got Swords’ 5-5-2020

I thought this one going to be for the (upcoming at the time) Soulblight Gravelords. Everything fit. The handle, the chipped blade, the hand…but nope. That turned out to be a red herring. And now, over two years later, we still don’t have any more info on this missing model. Talk about GW teasers…

‘That’s Not A Bowling Ball’ 6-15-2021

My initial reaction for this one was the Flesh Eater Courts. Some type of ghoul maybe. And we had just had all those Cursed City models come out in April of that year so “death” was on the brain. But here we are more than 1 year later and still nothing.

‘Bring Down The Hammer’ 9-7-2021

We covered this one a few days ago. But yeah…still no reveal for this clearly chaotic hammer. It this one turns out to be a non-chaos weapon I’ll actually be surprised! Which…I wouldn’t be mad about. Again, over a year later and nothing from GW about this one. Perhaps that’s about to change…

Who knows, we might see some of these models finally make an appearance this weekend when the Warhammer 40,000 35 Year Anniversary Celebration happens. Or maybe GW will keep these in their back pocket for another year. Guess we’ll have to keep waiting to find out!
