Games Workshop is showing off another Rumor Engine. But this time around I think we’ve got a handle on things.

It’s another Tuesday which means that it’s time to take a look at the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. I’ve got some theories on this one but first you should see it for yourself and come up with a few of your own.

“Celebrations! This month marks the 35th anniversary of Warhammer 40,000 – don’t forget to tune in for a special Warhammer Preview Online this Saturday – and the Rumour Engine has got into the party mood.”

So what are we looking at here? Well, we’ve got a few clues to work with. The hand and the bones are a good start. We’ve also got that wooden handle/cane that’s being held on to. This could be a walking stick or stave as the handle keeps going up. But this reminds me of two different things and I’m not sure which one it could end up being.

This one kind of reminded me of the Kruleboyz. With the bones and the gnarly wood. But I don’t see any nails/claws on those fingers…

Nope. No claws. However, I’m not ruling them out just yet. Another faction that this reminded me of was the Rotmire Creed:

The types of wood they use has a similar texture and look. Furthermore, the bones reminded me of their bamboo reeds they have on them. But again, the hands don’t match. No claws either.

So what do you think this one is? If you’ve got guesses we’d like to read them in the comments so drop us a line and share your theories with the rest of the class. That’s the fun of these Rumor Engines after-all!

Hmm…what if it’s not from AoS? Could it be a new 40k miniature?
