Horus Heresy: Predator Tanks Get A ‘Support Upgrade’ Variant
The Predator is getting some additional options with a new Predator Support Tank upgrade for the Horus Heresy.
Players of a certain vintage might remember the Predator Tank — the old school metal version. They might also remember that it had quite a few turret options comparatively to some of the more modern interpretations. That said, The Horus Heresy is exploring that old school version once again — and that also means we’re getting even more turret options to play with.
“The Predator Support Tank delivers. Using the same datasheet as the Predator Battle Tank,* this kit arrives with some of the more esoteric weapons used by the Legiones Astartes. Between them, there isn’t an enemy the Predator can’t deal with.”
More Weapons, More Options
This new update is boasting 5 new turret options to play with. What’s great is the dataslate for this version can already be found in either the Liber Astartes or Hereticus. If you’ve got either book you’ve already got the rules for these turret options for the Predator!
Executioner Plasma Destroyer
Do you like Plasma? Cause that’s exactly what you’d expect. Hazards of use and all.
Magna-melta Cannon
Need to melt armor? How about heavy armored elites like Terminators? The Magna-Melta is for you!
Flamestorm Cannon
Who doesn’t like massive flamers? If you’re a Salamander’s player you’ve also got some special rules that allow you field these variants at troops!
Heavy Conversion Beam Cannon
If you really want to sit back and shoot the good ol’ C-Beamer is for you. It gets better the farther it shoots…add a few of these to your gunline and watch them work.
Neutron Blaster
The Neutron Blaster is certainly one of the more esoteric options. This one shoots blasts of Radiation and if that doesn’t kill it’s target it will fry it’s circuits.
All of these new options are coming with the Predator Support Tank very soon from Games Workshop!
Where’s my double Plasma gun/Lascannon Turret version — Edit: That’s a Razorback, duh!
