Total War: Warhammer 3 Patch 2.2 arrives in full force. Alongside it come tweaks, rebalances, and several upgrades for your favorite Legendary Lords and factions. Pretty much every area of the game gets touched, with tweaks to victory objectives, aexperience, even new endgame scenarios and modes are present.
There’s a lot to love about Patch 2.2, so queue up your download. And while you wait, here’s a look at the highlights found in Total War: Warhammer 3 patch 2.2.
Total War: Warhammer 3 – Patch 2.2 Notes
- Changes to settlements and garrisons to reduce the frequency of settlement battles.
- Additional flavour for some of the special settlement garrisons—including Karak 8 Peaks, Black Pyramid, Skavenblight and more—by allowing them to use additional units.
- A character experience rebalance, reducing the importance of victory types and focusing on enemy unit destruction.
- Tweaks to the victory objectives of several legendary lords, including those of the Lizardmen, High Elves and Empire.
- A game mode split option has been added to ranked multiplayer, letting you join separate queues and giving you greater control of your online experience.
- Adjustments to AI aggression, strategy and overall game difficulty.
- Plus, monsters are invading the old world in the form of Regiments of Renown III, and a new endgame crisis brings ruin-death to all! Yes-yes…
But this is just a handful of the changes. We’re most excited by the prospect of the Regiments of Renown III unit pack, which is free for all players. This batch is focused on monstrous regiments in particular. You’ll find Frosthorns, Bloodthirsters, and more. And these have been “blessed with a few extra nasty tricks that make them more powerful than ever.”
