Warhammer 40K: ‘Darkness Made Metal’ Breakdown
Games Workshop dropped a huge teaser. What the heck are we looking at with Darkness Made Metal?
We’ve got a creepy new teaser video from the Warhammer Day celebration and I think we’re about to have some…well, take a look for yourself before we get on the theory train.
Darkness Made Metal
First up, note the re-colored logo. I don’t know if that has anything to do with a tease it but it’s worth noting.
The video opens with this scene as we slowly pan in on some Chaos figures. Black Legion. And of course Abaddon in the center. Note the weird wires and cords with skulls moving towards them.
We get a super creepy and distorted voice over. I listened to it too many times and all I can make out is this:
Abaddon, dearest [friend], I am back to hold [garbled]. A part [something something] An offer.
And then we get a look at something even more disturbing. Apologies about the giant play button, but I had to pause the video frame by frame to get these images.
I don’t know what we’re looking at but I’m getting some serious Dark Mechanicus vibes here. Clearly we’ve got some sort of mechanical/possessed Daemon thing. The silhouette looks pretty neat though! I’m betting this is someone from Abaddon’s past. I can’t wait to find out who it could be!
And then it abruptly ends with this screen:

Darkness Made Metal? That actually sounds like the perfect title of a metal album.
