Warhammer 40K Meta Hotness: Imperial Knight Errant
Today’s outside the box meta hotness is the Imperial Knight Errant flying the Freeblade Flag of Rage!
The Knight Errant is one of the powerful pieces of the Imperial knight combo. It has the ability to throw out some Advance and charge love to your little knights of doom. You mix some other powerful options like -1D and flat 4+ save and you got a little jerk that can punch up, punch down, and punch all around. Of course the little guy is cool but the Errant is the hot little piece you can throw some damage with by blessing his friends with the holy fire of rage.
Knight Errant Basics
He has a thermal lance, can get a bunch of cool upgrades, become a Freeblade, and throw out an advance and charge ability as needed. A lot of the time you need the ability to throw out some reach for your army so the Errant is where you look. Giving a +1 to advance and charge as well as the ability to advance and charge makes this guy the perfect Armiger leader. Set up your murder balls and let them run across the table.
Board Control with Anger Issues
Its pretty simple you need a big knight leader and this guy gives your army a lot of bang for your buck. Throw some traits on him to help give out more auras. The Knight Errant can give more groups powerful abilities to charge, and an army full of Obsec jerks and you get a nice set of damage potential. Oh and he can throw out a Thermal cannon as needed as well as some slap chop action.

Imperial Knight Errant Final Thoughts
With Leagues of Votann nerfed it might mean Knights are going to stay around the table tops in the coming months. It looks like Freeblades are the current good guy flavor and this list above shows a lot of power with a ton of wounds, a ton of bodies, and some serious anger issues.
