It’s the final expansion for Cursed City and it sure looks Radukar is back for blood in Warhammer Quest.

Games Workshop is back with the next and final expansion for Cursed City. Nemesis brings the story full circle as Radukar the Wolf has returned to hunt down the Heroes this time. Here’s what we know so far.

“Nemesis is the second and final expansion for Warhammer Quest: Cursed City. It takes us back into the doomed city of Ulfenkarn for one last job – to save the survivor’s enclave of Haven from the returned Radukar the Wolf – who is now hell-bent on killing the last remaining mortal denizens of the city he once ruled with an iron fist.”

Just like in Nightwars this expansion doesn’t feature any miniatures. It’s still jam-packed with all sorts of goodies. You’ll get a Quest Book will all the new rules and narrative you’ll need. You’re also going to get the lore for the story of what has been happening since Nightwars. As you can see above, there’s a lot of extras in this boxed set for your Cursed City campaigns to chew on.

The Nemesis expansion brings out the some of the supporting cast from the base back who are back for another round. Torgillius the Chamberlain, Watch Captain Halgrim, and Gorslav the Gravekeeper all have the possibility of popping in to harass the heroes once again. And of course Radukar will also be back — in either Wolf or Beast form.

You will need the core game of Cursed City as well as the Nightwars expansion for this one. There’s also a few other miniatures you’ll want to have ready to go: A Wight King, a Necromancer, and a unit of Greave Guard, Vargheists, and Dire Wolves. On the plus side if you’ve got a Soulblight Gravelords collection (or a friend with one) you’ll also open up more narrative options as well!

Personally, I’m curious to see how this one wraps up. It also begs the question what’s next for Warhammer Quest as a franchise. Are we going to see another Warhammer Quest: 40k game or another AoS one? I also like the idea that if you have more miniatures to play with then you’ll get the option to use them in the game, too.
