Goatboy’s Warhammer 40K: Astra Militarum Armored Company List – I Wanna Play Tanks!
Goatboy here and as you can tell from my Monday write up – I am infatuated with the idea of running a ton of Tanks. Hello Armored Company!
Heck it is hard to keep that itch from coming back, and making me wish I had bought one of those Leman Russ old Apocalypse boxes that came out many years ago. With that in mind let’s see and build out an AM army that is as many tanks as I can with still having some options to do some dirty work.
Alright – let’s see if I can make a list with mostly tanks and some guys riding in Tanks. I get the feeling I will be playing that dang Horse dude too. Lord solar Leontus seems too good to not be in the army. Mix this with maybe a big tank too and we’ll see what I can work out points wise.

Crushing Them With the Astra Militarum Armored Company
This is a pretty simple tank list. The idea is to try and get some tanks to be Objective Secured and allow you to steal objectives. While you drive around causing murder. You have a lot of bullets too in the list. While the make up might not be the best – they do seem to have a lot of options to just delete stuff. I also wanted a Rogal Dorn Battle Tank and thought this one could be cool as another little Tank Commander option. Plus you don’t have to paint a ton of guys on the tabletop too which is always a bonus. The Psyker can make sure to buff up the Rogal Dorn tank a bit to ensure it sticks around and looks cool.
