The new Brothers’ War Green Spoilers teach us all a little lesson about coming together. And dealing trample damage.

Amid a set full of devastating battles with cataclysmic results, the Brothers’ War Green Spoilers offer up a glimpse at some surprising warmth amid the war. Of course there’s plenty of ferocious creatures. And the bittersweet loss that comes from nature’s wonder getting snuffed out.

Grab your 1/1’s that help you ramp into 5/5+’s and let’s check out the Brothers’ War Green Spoilers.

Brothers’ War – Green Spoilers

Front and center of the Green Spoilers are the great forests of Argoth who prove to be wilder and more resilient than you might think. Alloy Animist shows how Argoth reclaims its own, no matter the form, while also giving artifact decks a surprising punch in the form of a 4/4 artifact creature coming out of nowhere. Argothian Opportunist, shows the adaptability of the forest and its people, as well as opening the door for Green’s Powerstone shenanigans.

Here we get a taste of the ramp that green is capable of. In this set, there will be sudden big swings. We also get to see Mishra and Urza  have it out with each other in an Epic Confrontation reprint. But my personal favorite card in Green, Fade From History, turns all of your artifacts and enchantments into bears.

Nature is healing.

And nothing interprets that statement like Fallaji Excavation or Fog of War, which literally heal you with the power of nature. We also get a look at Gaea’s Gift, which can turn any creature into a big green chomp. And Giant Growth, back in a big way.

Meanwhile Gnarlroot Pallbearer and Gwenna, Eyes of Gaea showcase the power of druids. While the Obstinate Baloth demands that it get cast, no matter the circumstances.

Shoot Down will be essential for dealing with those pesky artifact flyers. And Titania’s Command gives you plenty of opportunities to gain advantage across the board. Wasteful Harvest sets up the dream of milling four Obstinate Baloths right onto the battlefield.

It’ll never happen, but if it did? What a turn.

Even the “Green” Artifacts are surprisingly full of life and organic material. There are several prototypes that can come in as green cards. They also provide handy sources of extra mana, or make it easier to keep your engine going in the game.

All this in Brothers’ War!
