The Expert Classes survey is coming to a close. And this time it probably won’t be extended. Maybe. Why chance it?

One D&D’s latest playtest brought us revamped Rogues, Rangers, and Bards. Alongside several new feats, new rules for jumping, and other major changes, of course. And WotC wants to know what you think about all of it. But only for a limited time. But there’s still time left!

The Expert Classes survey closes on November 10th. Hopefully, the new Unearthed Arcana will drop not long after! But if you want a hand in shaping how powerful Bards are in the next edition? You’d better get on it.

Buckle in though, this one is a doozy. Might want to have a snack on hand.

D&D Expert Classes Survey

For veterans of Wizards of the Coast’s surveys, the format hasn’t changed. You’re still picking on a scale of 1 to 4 from very dissatisfied to very satisfied, with little enough room for comments. Two hundred words are scant feedback. But these surveys are there to help WotC test how class features and other rules shake out. And this survey, in particular, is doing a lot of work. Because in addition to rating the class features, players are asked if they have playtested (and what they subsequently feel about) the new feats:

And the laundry list of revamped core rules. Including new two-weapon fighting rules. New grappling rules. Using skills as bonus actions more and more. Jump, which is highly controversial and will almost certainly get revised. The list goes on. So you might want to make sure you bring a snack and a drink when you start filling out this survey.

It’s no small feat (pun intended) but, it’s worth the effort to help set the stage for the next phase of D&D!

Take the Survey!

Update: WotC has shifted the survey deadline back to November 23rd as of 11/9/22
