The Cowboy Bebop RPG is live on Kickstarter, rounding the corner of its final two weeks. Three, two, one let’s jam.
The Cowboy Bebop RPG promises all the action of sci-fi bounty hunters, with all the rhythm of jazz. It’s a unique take on an RPG and the Kickstarter has been wildly successful as they head into their final two weeks. If you missed it, now’s your chance to back and snag some of those sweet sweet stretch goals.

Cowboy Bebop RPG – Kickstarter
Cowboy Bebop Roleplaying Game is, well, a tabletop roleplaying game, meaning that there is a game structure paired with a tale: the players will take turns playing by the rules and telling the tale, explaining how the game results reflect in the fiction, knowing that what happens in the game influences the fiction and what happens in the fiction influences decisions within the game.
Players take on the role of a Bounty Hunter: each of them will have a Character sheet describing their character and a set of game rules specific to that character. Players will use these rules to play the game, making decisions about how their characters act, think and feel. Will your characters capture the bounty, or will they take their side? That’s for the Bounty Hunter to decide.
Our goal for this project is to produce a Hardcover book of ~240 full-color pages (8.5 x 11 inches – 216 x 279 mm), including:

- An original game system based on d6 dice to overcome the difficulties the characters will face.
- Rules to create your own custom Bounty Hunter. His past, present, and future.
- The tools for the narrator (Big Shot) to set the events in the world of Cowboy Bebop, creating customized Bounties.
- Everything you need to interact with the famous characters straight out of the series.
- The characteristics of spaceships and their mechanics of use.
- An in-depth look at the Cowboy Bebop universe, its planets, and space travel.
And that’s just to start. The campaign has already more raised almost twenty times what they’re asking for on Kickstarter. This means they’ve secured some amazing stretch goals, including:
