Warhammer 40K: Darktide launches tomorrow. And we can’t wait. The Launch Trailer promises carnage and Chaos galore.

If you’ve been playing in the Warhammer 40K: Darktide Beta, you already know what it’s like. You’ve experienced the fast-paced frenetic combat as the rejects rise up to defend Tertium from the many dangers that beset the Imperium.

If you haven’t jumped in yet, there’s still plenty of time. With the full launch slated for tomorrow, here’s one last look at everything that awaits you.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide Launch Trailer

Take back the city of Tertium from hordes of bloodthirsty foes in this intense and brutal action shooter. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the new co-op focused experience from the award-winning team behind the Vermintide series. As Tertium falls, Rejects Will Rise.

Darktide takes Vermintide 2 and brings it into the grim darkness of the distant future. It’s a 4-player co-op shooter at its finest when everyone is working in-sync together. Of course, your experience may vary. The combat can be difficult, and even grueling, as it represents the grim darkness of the 41st millennium and all its horrors.

Which means you’ll need every tool in your toolbox, every weapon in your arsenal to survive the onslaught. That’s true whether you’re playing a veteran sharpshooter, or unleashing the might of the empyrean as a psyker psychokineticist. Just mind the perils of the Warp.

Here’s an overview of everything you can expect:

Built on the legacy of Vermintide 2’s best-in-class melee combat, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide introduces intense WH40K gunplay to the mix. Master the balance between ranged and melee combat as you fight through a slew of enemies. Feel the impact of each swipe, swing, and slice of a chainsword, or fry some flesh with a lasgun.

At its core, Darktide is a co-op game. Wandering too far, risks punishment by foes looking to immobilize or capture stray Rejects, such as the slavering Chaos Hound or the Moebian Trapper. Once you fall prey to such foes, only your teammates can save you! More than that, your innate toughness – your determination to press on through the pain – only recharges when you are in the proximity of your strike team.

See you on Tertium
