Warhammer 40K Next Week: Cadia Stands Box And New Goff Rocker
Next week—Cadia might have fallen, but her defenders still stand in a new boxed set, headlining for a redone Ork Goff Rocker.
Cadia may be one of the most successful failures of the Astra Militarum. Even though the planet fell, the idea that Cadia Stands resonates throughout the Imperium. Probably some of the Administratum’s finest propaganda work. And with a new boxed set to celebrate this heroic defeat, you’ll have everything you need to jump start a Militarum Army.
But you won’t want to miss the new Goff Rocker mini, back from the old days in a big way with a brand new look. Between Cadia and old school models, it’s a retro cool pre-order release week for sure.
Cadia Stands
Alright, let’s get right to the big one for the week. The new Cadia Stands boxed set is the best way to prove that the Militarum is the might of humanity. The planet broke before her defenders did. And that’s the Imperium for you. And this new boxed set contains everything you need to start a new Astra Militarum army, or to kit out your existing one with Cadian forces.
You get 28 completely new miniatures in the full set, which comprises:
- 20 Cadian Shock Troops
- 5-man Cadian Command Squad
- Sentinel with Armoured and Scout Sentinel configurations
- 2 Field Ordnance teams
These new models are absolutely gorgeous. Of course the paint scheme goes a long way to showing just how stalwart Cadian forces really are,
Somehow, whenever I paint my figures’ eyes, they always look like they’re surprised to be wherever they are.
Surprised and slightly panicked/cross-eyed. But regardless of individual painting abilities, these miniatures are fantastic.
And alongside them, you’ll get an exclusive copy of the new Codex: Astra Militarum as well as a full set of 63 datacards for Stratagems, psychic powers, and Regimental Orders.
The army set has a 13-day pre-order window, which means it’ll be ready for Black Friday.
Speaking of black though…
This year’s holiday miniature is festive and dark, outfitted in naught but black. Black like his ‘eart. The Goff Rocker gets a bold new look. Based on a “classic trio of models” from the old days, this rocker, complete with Squig amp, will be a showpiece on any table.
All this next week!
