Warhammer Next Week: AoS Battleboxes And Warcry Gets Gnarly
Next week’s preorders are in; a whole avalanche of new Age of Sigmar Battleboxes, and Warcry’s newest expansion. Check em out here!
An absolute avalanche of AoS Battleboxes arrives for preorder next week. As is tradition, there will be plenty of Squigs. You’ll see them, realize they’re the best, then one day you’ll wonder where did all of these squigs come from. Are they…moving? Alive? And then it’s only a matter of time, really.
You can also check out a brand new expansion for War Cry as skirmish combat comes to the Gnarlwood with two new warbands and some gnarly (pun intended) new forest terrain. Check it out!
AoS Battleboxes
First up, a Daughters of Khaine Battlebox containing 27 miniatures, including a Slaughter Queen on Cauldron of Blood. She can be built in two other ways, as a perfect start to your DoK army.
It wouldn’t be the holidays without Squigs. And in the stampeding squigalanche you have a veritable cornucopia of toothy death orbs to pick from. There are 25 miniatures, including two pairs of Mangler Squigs, in this set.
Good grief is here at last with the Nighthaunts Battlebox. Led by Lady Olynder, accompanied by a deadly Black Coach, this spectral horde totals 32 miniatures!
Of course you could always get the newest Orruks on the block. The Kruleboyz Battlebox contains 15 miniatures, including an ornery Killaboss on Corpse-rippa Vulcha, an odious Snatchaboss on Sludgeraker Beast, and a bunch of boyz.
The Skaven Battlebox contains a whopping 85 miniatures. That’s more than 7 dozen Clanrats, Plague Monks, Stormfiends and more. It’s simply an astounding amount of plastic bound up in this box.
Or do your army up in Thunderstrike Armor, Stormcast style, with 26 miniatures including the powerful Draconith Guard!
Feeling nature’s wrath? Want to speak for the trees? In this Battlebox you get aDrycha Hamadreth and 28 other miniatures, perfect for any Sylvaneth force.
On top of all that, you can also get Tzeentch’s new Curseling and the Realm-Lords’ new Enlightener separately from Arcane Cataclysm.
War Cry: Sundered Fate
Of course the other big new box this weekend is War Cry: Sundered Fate:
This boxed set contains 23 miniatures and a hefty heap of terrain, including creepy Gnarloaks, rope bridges, scattered ruins, palisades, extended platforms and a new hollow refuge. There’s also a double-sided gaming board, the Stealth and Stone warband tome, and Fighter and Ability cards for both warbands, and a set of Battleplan cards for setting up games.
You get two new Warbands. The Cultists of Jadestone Obelisk and the Hunters of Huanchi.
All this, next week!
