Warhammer Next Week: Chaos, Made To Order
Next week, it’s Chaos by design, to your particular specifications. That’s right, it’s made-to-order Chaos time. Get your lords next week!
It’s a made-to-order Chaos Cavalcade next week for the Mortal Realms. A number of classic Chaos Lords are available through GW’s made-to-order process. You’ll find all four of the Chaos gods represented here, as well as a retro-Archaon that’s back and more metal than ever.
Literally. Check out everything you’ll be able to snag next week. As with most of these options, you’ve only got a limited window. So if you want to collect these classic Chaos lords, you’ll want to get ’em fast.
Made-to-Order Chaos
First up, it’s Archaon, back in POG form. Er. Metal form. That’s right, Archaon, Lord of the End Times here is the classic Archaon, now cast in metal in all his glory. Paint him up to make him look iconic. GW suggests using him as a Chaos Lord in a Slaves to Darkness army.
But this beaut will look good in any collection.
Next up, a classic Khorne Lord. Or Colonel, as they were once known. As with all of these, the Khorne Lord is also cast in metal. And he makes for a fantastic Khorne Marked mini, whether that’s a Chaos Lord or Aspiring Deathbringer. As long as he can take skulls for the skull throne.
Nurgle’s Chaos Lord has a whole extra blade on his shoulder, and a feculent grin that would make his patron proud. Whether you field him in Slaves to Darkness or Maggotkin of Nurgle, the classic Nurgle Lord is a grim, grinning guy who’s fun to be around.
Slaanesh’s Chaos Lord really evokes that Dark Elf/Eldar sensibility. Especially with that high topknot, that’s clearly one of the best of all times. How long do you think it takes to wrap all that? And whom does the Chaos Lord trust enough to get that close?
The Tzeentch Chaos Lord comes with a familiar and is the iconic bird wizard. How many bird heads can you count between these two miniatures?
Finally a Mounted Chaos Sorcerer, back as a true blast from the ancient past.
All these are available starting next Saturday and running through November 28th!
