Critical Role’s ‘Legend of Vox Machina’ Season 2 Trailer is Full of Dragons and Demigods
Grog gets a beard. The city of Emon gets four dragons. Critical Role’s Legend of Vox Machina Season 2 Trailer (red band edition) has it all.
Critical Role‘s animated special, The Legend of Vox Machina, was a smash hit earlier this year when it was released on Amazon Prime. So much so that it was quickly renewed for a 3rd season, well ahead of the premiere of Season 2. And the latest trailer for The Legend of Vox Machina, Season 2 shows why.
It also teases a premiere date of January 20th, 2023. So in little more than a month, you’ll get a whole new round of adventures with Vox Machina. Check out the trailer and get excited, though, fair warning, it is a Red Band trailer, which means you might want to watch it on a non-work device. But you absolutely should watch it at work.
Legend of Vox Machina – Season 2 Trailer (Red Band)
Season 2 sets up one of the single most dramatic arcs in Critical Role, Campaign 1. That is, it sets up the Chroma Conclave. If you’re unfamiliar, the Chroma Conclave was an alliance of chromatic dragons: Raishan (Green), Vorugal (White), Umbrasyl (Black), and Thordak (Red). And in one of the more intense episodes of campaign 1, they rained destruction upon the city of Emon.
While chromatic dragons are normally selfish, this alliance proved to be a deadly challenge for the likes of Vox Machina. This kicked off a long arc that sent the heroes off in search of the artifacts unique to Exandria known as Vestiges of Divergence.
And in the trailer, we see the trademark humor of Vox Machina on full display. There are plenty of cussing and bawdy jokes, but that’s what Critters love. Curious about what else might be happening? Don’t forget to check out the first look trailer:
