Dune Part 2 has finished filming and is on to the next stage before hopefully hitting theaters this fall.

Part 2 was confirmed by Legendary in October of last year after the first gained critical acclaim. Director Denis Villeneuve had already been at work with co-writer Jon Spaihts on the screenplay before the announcement. Shooting on location in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan, and Italy began in July.

A short six months later, Timothée Chalamet shared that filming was done. The actor, who portrays Paul Atreides in the sci-fi epic, posted a photo on his Instagram: “DUNE 2 WRAPPED (with desert dad !!)” It looks like the pair is in Jordan.

The photo doesn’t reveal much beyond a happy actor. The next movie covers the second half of the classic sci-fi novel, starting with Paul and Jessica’s trek to the Fremen sietch. This half will bring more interplanetary politics, Paul’s rise as a leader, and the start of the Muad’Dib’s Jihad. Plus, all of the new characters that come with that expansion. Villeneuve has promised that there will be more action in this movie than in the last, which contains a substantial amount of world-building.
