We’ve had a pretty crazy 2022 in terms of Rumor Engines. Today is no different! This one is sure to keep you guessing at what’s to come from GW in the future.
“Another week, another gnomic image to confuse, amuse, and confound you for somewhere between six and 18 months. You’ll never guess what it is, and that knowledge will bug you until… at least some time in 2023, maybe 2024! “
Alright! So…what the heck is it? I have no idea! At first glance I thought this was something from Necromunda to be honest. It kind of reminded me of some of the creepy House Delaque minis we’ve gotten so far.
I don’t actually think it’s that — but it’s got a weird mix of organic components mixed in with some very clearly non-organic stuff. The spikes remind me of Tyranids but they don’t have power cables coming out of them. But you know what is a mix of Tyranids and technology?
I’m still not convinced it’s GSC — but I wouldn’t rule them out. There’s also the other obvious candidate:
This could also be something coming from Chaos. I could totally see that being a “thing” too. I’m not 100% sure it’s any of those but Chaos is my top pick. Just based on the spikes coming out like the teeth of a circular saw blade and the combination of power cables and organic matter.
Actually, you know what would be super awesome? If this was a new Mutilator tease.
Still waiting on this update. Possibly a dual kit for both Obliterators and Multilators…
