The new year is right around the corner, and Age of Sigmar in 2023 is going to be a big one. Take a look at what’s coming.

As the warm embers of 2022 die down, amid the flickering light we get just enough of a glimpse at the things that lurk beyond. Out there in the unknown of 2023.

Which, according to Games Workshop, will be a big year for Warhammer of all stripes. Age of Sigmar in 2023 promises many new models, including new Gloomspite Gitz, new Slaves to Darkness and more. Come take a look for yourself.

First Look At Age of Sigmar In 2023 – In 2022

Yes that’s right, here we can see the future made manifest. Here’s a vision of Age of Sigmar in 2023 in 2022. But this future sight is not heresy; rather than depending upon the ruinous powers of the Empyrean to get a glimpse of what is to come, this work has already been finished to varying degrees. Now all that remains is the waiting.

But what beautiful models we’re waiting for. You can see more in the video above. And if you’re curious as to the order of operations here, GW has helpfully outlined their Battletome Roadmap. Battletome Slaves to Darkness kicks everything off. And those warriors up there look ready to do it.

Not long after, Beasts of Chaos and Gloomspite Gitz await their turn.

After that, five more Battletomes planned for spring: one for Order, two for Chaos, and two for Death, with Order picking up its 2nd book in summer.

And for those of you who prefer their fantasy combats to be more skirmishes than battles, there are two more Warcry expansions expected in the current season, starting with Bloodhunt and then Nightmare Quest.

Meanwhile, Warhammer Underworlds has one new Warband and the Beastbound Assault rivals deck coming in February. After that, who knows what lies in store?

All of this in spring of 2023. Beyond that, who can say?
