GW Unveils Pariah Nexus Animated Series
GW’s got an all new animated series coming to Warhammer+. Meet Pariah Nexus.
Here’s what GW has to say about the upcoming animation series:
“The Nephilim Sector is a violent area of the galaxy in which the advancing Indomitus Crusades are locked in all-out war with a dynasty of Necrons awakening from their aeons-long slumber. We first visited it in the most recent edition of Warhammer 40,000, and we returned in the latest season of Matched Play. Soon we’ll see it in a completely new light – on Warhammer TV in the forthcoming series Pariah Nexus.
This is the story of a handful of brave Imperial warriors thrown together and battling to survive.”
Some Details
There’s a lot to take in with such a short teaser. First of all, it looks like a continuation of the 9th Edition launch video, at least in tone. You have Necrons versus Marines, Sororitas, and IG. There’s a little Kreig cameo in there as well – and Illuminator Szeras is the main antagonist. This one feels like the Marines aren’t having a good time, and it’s the mere humans who will have to save the day with a combination of grit and faith.
The Illuminator is giving orders to his henchmen.
