Horus Heresy: Word Bearers Get The Upgrade Treatment With New Kits
The Word Bearers are next on deck for the upgrade treatment from Forge World with new heads and shoulder packs coming soon.
There’s a new batch of MKVI Tactical Squad Upgrades coming to the Horus Heresy courtesy of Forge World. Today it’s the Word Bearer’s turn to get that special look with these “beakie” upgrades.
Word Bearer MKVI Head Upgrades
“These new helmets will ensure your MKVI Tactical Squads really look the part – how better to show your devotion than carving Colcishian cuneiform directly into your beak? There are nine Legionary helms in three designs, plus a scarred bare head bellowing a sermon, and a Sergeant’s helmet sporting a horned daemonic mask”
I like their Colcishian cuneiform markings! That’s a really cool way to distinguish them as Word Bearers. The one mask with the “horns” seems a bit more on the chaos side but…sure. These could be Pre or Post Heresy helms I suppose.
Word Bearer MKVI Shoulder Pad Upgrades
Again, I like the Colcishian cuneiform on the shoulder pads in combination with the Word Bearer’s legion marking it’s a good look. It’s uniform and yet you can really mix and match to make your models look different.
Naturally, these are all coming in resin which also means that they are going to be from Forge World. Keep an eye out for these upgrade packs coming soon.
