Bucky Barnes is one of the heroes-turned-antiheroes-turned-sweetheart of the Marvel universe. He first appears on screen in Captain America: The First Avenger, and stole our hearts with his easy charm. He has come back to stay with the recent Falcon and Winter Soldier release, and this week we’re featuring a gorgeous Winter Soldier cosplay to celebrate everything Bucky!
Bucky is a sweetheart with a dark and twisty past. He is a living example of the horrors of war. His struggle with PTSD and coping with the world that has changed around him is a stark reality that deserves more attention paid to it. We love Bucky for acknowledging his past and fighting to make a new future.
This week’s cosplay feature of The Winter Soldier shows a screen-accurate portrayal of Bucky. The details of the vibranium arm are stunning. The poses and postures are fierce.
