The nuns with guns are on the run. Developer Slitherine releases Sister of Battle DLC for both Warhammer 40K Battlesector and Gladius.

Now you can get your Adepta Sororitas fix, no matter what kind of Warhammer 40K tactical video game you’re playing. If you’re relishing the turn-based tactics of Warhammer 40K: Battlesector, or diving deep into the 4X world of Warhammer 40K: Gladius, the Adepta Sororitas will be waiting for you. Developer Slitherine released two new pieces of Sisters of Battle DLC for their games. With this release, you get the new faction across two very different games.

What will your strategy be? How will you employ them? Check it out below!

Warhammer 40K: Battlesector – Sisters of Battle DLC

A long-standing order with a rich history, the Adepta Sororitas have always lived in service of the Emperor. Their unrelenting faith and rigorous training provides them with a mental fortitude rare among those that serve the Imperium. This divine protection, perhaps from the very spirit of the Emperor himself, makes every sister an incorruptible fortress that turns aside the profane, the blasphemous, the heretic. 15 units of the Order stand ready to turn back the unworthy on Baal.

This new DLC includes not only the new faction, which does a phenomenal job of representing how the Sororitas play on the tabletop. Seriously, if you’ve a hankering for 40K and can’t get down to the ol’ FLGS, Battlesector scratches that itch pretty well. But the DLC also coincides with a free update to Battlesector that introduces a new single-player mode:

Daemonic Incursion

In this mode, you’ll construct an army, and face down waves of Khornate daemons who have come to spill your blood, take your skulls, and destroy everything in their path. It’s a sort of last-stand scenario. All you have to do is survive.

Warhammer 40K: Gladius – Adepta Sororitas Are Here

Of course, they join the war for Gladius Prime as well. If you prefer your grimdark computer games to be a bit more about the grand strategy of it all, Gladius is a pretty good bet. And the faction joins with 18 new units, along with a spate of new heroes, mechanics, city buildings, and questlines.
