It’s a made to order extravaganza as Games Workshop counts down to Christmas. Which classic model will you secure?

The holidays loom on the horizon, grim dark portents of unaltered shadows and animated specials gathering like stormclouds. Even Games Workshop is observing the signs, this week with a batch of made-to-order miniatures brought back from the binding light of Christmas Past.

You know, the first ghost, the one that’s kind of fun but also that reminds you of a younger, more innocent you, who became hard-hearted somewhere along the way. Perhaps when that old jackdaw Marley encouraged you to foreclose on that orphanage. Whatever the case, celebrate the past with these miniatures in the future.

Made To Order Miniatures

The made to order merriness kicks off with the Classic Commander. With five guns, four melee weapons, a smattering of accessories, he has everything but a partridge in a pear tree.

The Adeptus Astartes have seen some serious upgrades over the years. And whether or not you think they look cool or cringe, there’s absolutely no denying that the Space Marines of editions past had character.

Do you have any hard-to-reach crevices? Any corners that need sweeping out? The Classic Captain brings a back banner and a beautiful crested helm that can serve as an emergency signal in a pinch.

How about a made to order Lord Executioner? These high-speed Space Marine Captains come kitted out with jump pack and power axe, capable of killing an enemy before they realize they’re in charge range.

Or go back less far, to the beginning of this Edition. With the Dark Imperium came Belisarius Cawl’s special pet project: really big boys. These are Primaris from the beginning of the big times. And you get an Ancient, two Lieutenants, and five Intercessors.

What about a flying priest? The Chaplain with Jump Pack delivers litanies to people at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.

Or how about a classic Librarian in Terminator armor to soak up incredible hits while also delivering psychic powers to your enemies like overdue book fines?

Or prove your Chapter’s prowess with a collection of Masters of the Chapter, who may no longer have a place, but their models are still extremely cool.

Last but not least, a Techmarine!
