Face Off Against A Possessed Ambot In This Month’s Necromunda Apocrypha
The Daemons of Meridian brings back a heretic in the form of a possessed Ambot. Can it be stopped?
Necromunda might not be on the teaser list for the LVO Online Preview but Games Workshop didn’t forget about it either. This month, we’ve got a new scenario that introduces a new character that you can add to your Chaos Helot Cult gangs and Chaos Corrupted gangs. Time to meet Czarn the Cyberoth.
Necromunda Apocrypha
“Czarn the Cyberoth, an infamous heretek and leader of the Brethren of the Black Dawn, has been slain in the fighting for the city. Not one to let a little thing like death slow him down, Czarn transferred his consciousness into the brain of a scrap-code ambot before his demise and is now set to rampage through the ruined city with his crazed followers in tow!”
If you want to read up on the full scenario you can find that here. It takes place immediately after the events in The Aranthain Succession: Ciderak Burning. Which is still a pretty huge leap forward for the story of Necromunda.
This new scenario is called Cut off the Head. In it, one gang is ambushing another in the heart of their turf in an attempt to take out their leader. It’s a brutal and bloody fight for sure.
Personally, I’m looking forward to seeing some Czarn conversions. GW has this tidbit to say about the character:
Using the Ambot as a starting point opens up a lot of really cool opportunities.
You get two in the box so you could totally use one for the “base” version and use the other as the start of something…different. Sounds like a fun hobby challenge if nothing else.
