Horus Heresy: Alpha Legion Get A New Assassin Dubbed ‘Exodus’
The Alpha Legion’s agents are many and their reach is far. What are the sons of the hydra up to now? Assassinations!
I think we all know that the Alpha Legion are the sneaky-sneaky Space Marines and their history of subterfuge and deception is legendary. Allegedly. Now they are getting another agent in the mix who’s an assassin with a really big gun. Meet Exodus, the Assassin.
“No one knows for sure if Exodus is one supremely skilled assassin or a cabal of cool-headed killers who constantly shift priority and targets. The One Who Is Many always seems always to be in the right place at the right time – and sometimes even in two places simultaneously. Whatever it takes to land the killing blow.”
So I have a question…I know the Alpha Legion are super sneaky and all but how does Exodus get around all stealthy-like while wearing power armour and carrying a massive rifle. As unrealistic as is it in the movies, the hitman always just carries a briefcase with some fancy rifle they have to assemble — and even that’s probably pushing it. Tell me this guy at least has some sort of invisibility suit or something. Also, Space Marines are HUGE in general! They should stick out like a sore thumb regardless of where they are in a crowd. /rantover
While I may not buy-in to this lone sniper being able to sneak around the battlefield he IS used with other Space Marines on the tabletop so maybe it’s easier for him to blend in. His fancy rifle also comes with some fancy rules and he’s got a knack for landing that killing blow.
First up, he’s going to get the angle on the target one way or another. That much is locked-in. And his tool of choice is going to have the right option to take out his targets:
