Elesh Norn isn’t pulling any punches, and more fan favorites are getting the Oil Treatment.

Phyrexia: All Will Be One is right around the corner, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most popular sets ever. Phyrexians are one of the coolest baddies in Magic lore, and Elesh Norn is one of their most ferocious generals. Even her fellow Praetors bend the knee to her Machine Orthodoxy, except for the red-aligned Urabrask. She has even managed to complete a few Planeswalkers. Now, with the help of the sap of the World Tree, she may be able to cross the Blind Eternities. All Will Be One begins the story of the Multiverse’s response to the New Phyrexian threat, as a cadre of Planeswalkers led by Jace invade the metallic plane. They hope to end Norn’s reign of terror at the source, but unfortunately, things aren’t going to be that easy…

We know several of the Planeswalkers in Jace’s task force, including Jace himself, are getting completed. We’ve seen the cards for Jace, Vraska, and Nissa, and we know more are on the way. Thanks to eagle-eyed fans, we have confirmation of at least two more. New Phyrexia is about to get a lot darker, and Elesh Norn has added some powerful allies to her arsenal.

Lukka

The willful bonder may have bitten off more than he can chew with New Phyrexia. While we don’t know all the details, he likely tried to bond with one of the beasts of the Tangle. That would put him in Vorinclex’s crosshairs. Perhaps the bonding process opened him up to phyresis, or maybe he did it willingly. Regardless, he is Phyrexia’s now, with Mila nowhere in sight. The fox-like creature may save him, but more likely, she is just as much a victim as him.

Nahiri

While we don’t have a card for Nahiri yet, we know from the lore that she falls to the Phyrexians by breaking the “zombie rule”. She is infected with phyresis while fighting the Phyrexians, but rather than allow herself to be treated, she tries to soldier on. That goes as well for her as it does for bite victims in a zombie movie, and she joins the ranks of completed ‘walkers. A Magic TikToker noticed that all the Planeswalkers responsible for locking Emrakul in the moon are now completed, which could be…bad. Will we see a completed Emrakul? For the sake of the Multiverse, I hope not.

What heroes are you excited to see?
