Review: Fallen Divinity by Para Bellum Games is Gorgeous
I got my hands on the Fallen Divinity model from Para Bellum Games for Conquest – it is stunning!
Para Bellum Games keeps putting out better models with every release. This one is made of resin, and there is a lot to it. If you want a full review and instructional post on how to put it together, I have that on my personal site. Today, I want to show you the finished product after I assembled everything.
Take a look at this thing! It’s huge and has a ton of detail. Here we have the Fallen Divinity on its scenic base…
The model itself looks fantastic and is a unique take on the undead in a fantasy miniatures game. I really like these hounds. The model is essentially its own mini diorama.
While you can build it all in one go, as I did, I recommend that you paint it up in subassemblies as you build it. I noticed that some parts of the model are tough to get to after I put everything together.
Wrapping it up…
Overall, this is a great-looking model. To assemble it, I used super glue and lots of patience. I sent this off to a friend to paint. Unfortunately, he feels like he may have to take a model saw to the piece to better paint all of the parts. This is why I recommend that you paint it in subassemblies rather than building the entire model. There are details you can’t get to once it is all built, like this cauldron of skulls here.
Once you build the entire model, there are parts that you can’t get to with a brush. That is why I recommend that you build and paint this model in subassemblies.
Until next time, Happy Gaming, Everyone!!!
