‘Star Trek: Picard’ S3 – The Final Voyage Begins in New Trailer
Star Trek: Picard boldly goes into its third and final season. A new threat has emerged, and the stakes have never been higher.
The final season of the show will bring back the entire Star Trek: The Next Generation cast. And it appears that they’re not going to follow the threads at the end of season two and are introducing a new threat. Vadic (played by Amanda Plummer and inspired by Khan Noonien Singh) is the captain of an alien vessel that’s hunting Picard and his reunited crew. Can they survive one last confrontation?
This is not going to be an uneventful voyage, Captain Liam Shaw. I’m sorry to tell you.
Star Trek: Picard S3 Iconic Cast
There’s no official synopsis for the season available. There are a few teases in the previews, but Paramount is still holding the story of the season pretty close to the vest. The cast, however, that’s no secret. Showrunner Alex Kurtzman mentioned during an SDCC panel that getting the crew back together like this – in a way that’s earned – was Patrick Stewart’s suggestion.
“We didn’t want to have cameos, but serious roles. At the beginning of the season, the crew is in different places around the galaxy. Slowly we see them come together.”
The cast of Star Trek: Picard‘s final season includes recurring crew members: Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard), Gates McFadden (Beverly Crusher). Plus Jonathan Frakes (William Riker), LeVar Burton (Geordi La Forge), Michelle Hurd (Raffi Musiker), Michael Dorn (Worf), Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi), and Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine).
Plus, Sharpe Chestnut as Ensign Sidney La Forge) and Mica Burton as Ensign Alanda La Forge. Daniel Davis is returning as holographic Doctor Moriarty, as is Data’s twin Lore. This is going to get a bit weird. We’ll see how all of this fits together when the first episode drops in two weeks.
The ten episodes of Picard Season 3 starts streaming on February 16, 2023.
