Age of Sigmar: Saurus Astrolith Bearers Get A New Look
Get ready for a new batch from the spawning pools. The Saurus Astrolith Bearers are coming to help guide you to victory!
Games Workshop announced that the Seraphon are getting a major update in the summer and the teases are already coming in hot. Today, we’re getting a look at the new Saurus Astrolith Bearers!

The Astroliths aren’t just there for inspiring nearby Seraphon units to greater heights of battlefield prowess (although they can kinda do that, too). They help channel the energies from the heavens to boost your troops with some celestial magic of their own!
“Seraphon spellslingers benefit significantly from these Celestial Conduits. Their reality-warping power alters the geomantic landscape within 12″, giving a boost to the casting rolls of all nearby SERAPHON WIZARDS and extending the range of their spells.”
There’s also the Revivifying Energies that help out a ton by giving nearby friendly Seraphon units (wholly within 12″) a 6+ ward. That’s a nice little bonus when it happens.
On top of all those benefits this new model just looks really cool. The new design of the Astrolith and the new, more aggressive/dynamic pose of the Saurus is a nice improvement. Also, that head dress looks stunning.
Personally, I’m really glad to see the Serphon getting a big rework/refresh for their range. So far it really looks like GW has upped their game for the Seraphon and I can’t wait to see what else they have planned for this entire range of miniatures.
They might be cold-blooded but they are going to make summer time hot!
