Goatboy’s Grimdark Armylist: Lord Invocatus & the Daemon Engines!
Goatboy here with another list idea for the new Codex World Eaters. Lord Invocatus can really rock with some Daemon Engines!
I thought about going as heavy Daemon engine as I could thanks to a nice little unit brought to my attention by my buddy Horton – A True Lord of Khorne. Uraka the Warpfiend is an interesting FW daemon prince based on the ancient, Khorne Daemon Prince model we see all the time from FW and wonder what the heck we should do with it.
Uraka the Warpfiend (& his little buddy)
Of course the new World Eaters Codex has a lot of people excited. While we all love the Eighbound and theor obvious power, there is more to be explored inthe army, than just a bunch of Khorne Marines stuffed to the gills with Daemons of Khorne. There are some interesting and fun Daemon Engine nonsense you can do with the codex that pushes the list away from bloodthirsty maniacs and instead brings out Warp-infused engines of war. With that in mind let’s throw it on the table so you can see how this nonsense might work. Time to dust off all your old Daemonengines and break out the red Contrast paint.

Reaping Skulls for the Skull Throne
This is a pretty simple armylist designed to throw a lot of fat on the table with four Grinder-like monsters, Angron, and the Warpfiend that still has the old Reroll 1’s to hit for all Khorne Daemons. Yup – this is all about trying to utilize as many fun interactions for powering thru Rerolls on your Khorne options.
Also note that each time one of these robots dies – it will dump 2 Blood Tithe Points into your army. You can use them to regrow Angron, get better charges, and just be a pain in the butt. The Exalted Eightbound are there as just simple little deep strike options that you can have come in, punch stuff, and then take as much candy as they can.
Will this nonsense work? Who the heck knows it just looks fun with a ton of demonic robots of doom!
Blood for the Blood God!
