Hey Disney, Here Are Five Ideas For Movies Set After the ‘Star Wars’ Sequels

Star Wars fans might be getting another set of movies that take place after the Sequels… and we’ve got some ideas.

Rumors have started to swirl around some upcoming Star Wars projects. In particular, the rumors are focused on a post-Rise of Skywalker movie.  Recently Daisy Ridley has stated she’s open to coming back as Rey. Additionally, Jon Favreau has confirmed there is a discussion about it. Some people even think a new movie will be announced at this year’s Celebration. But what could this movie be about?

5. Lando Searches For His Family After the Sequels

In the Rise of Skywalker, it’s confirmed that Lando Calrissian‘s daughter was taken as a child by the First Order. He and Jannah bond over this, and there is a possibility that she is his missing daughter.  At the end of the movie, he promises to help her find her family. You could easily set a smaller-scale movie around Lando and Jannah searching for their family and digging through the aftermath of the fall of the First Order.

4. Rey Rebuilds the Jedi After the Sequels

In a sad twist of fate we never really got to see Luke Skywalker rebuild the fallen Jedi order. But by the end of The Rise of Skywalker, it’s unclear what the future hold for the Jedi. Rey is the last Jedi, and she’s taken the name Skywalker. What her plans are is unclear. However, a movie set after the Sequels with her in it would be perfect to focus on the true rebuilding of the Jedi.

3. Finn and Poe, Generals and Lovers

Maybe we can finally make the Finn/Poe romance happen! You could make a very interesting movie set after the Sequels that follows the two of them. Together they have to work together to hunt down the remaining First Order and rebuild the New (new-new?) Republic. A movie focused on them could dig into the military side a bit but and be pretty interesting. It could also give us a good look at how the First Order was running things.

2. The Force Ghost Movie

By the end of the Sequels, there are a lot of Force ghosts running around. We’ve seen Luke, Leia, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Qui-Gon Jinn. We also heard a bunch more speaking to Rey. Ben Solo is likely to join them also. I dunno about you, but I’d love to see a movie set after the Sequels focused around them. What are they all getting up to? Who are they advising? Maybe they have some drama of their own. Does force ghost Luke get to hang out with Anakin? Have ghost Anakin and ghost Obi-Wan made up?

This could also be a movie that dug a little deeper into some of the mysteries of the Force. There are some kind of cool ideas around it. On top of all these questions, everyone loves nostalgia, and this is a great way to bring back old characters.

1. The Gang Reunites After the Sequels to Fight Palpatine

Somehow Palpatine returned. Again.
