Learn Cursed Techniques With ‘Tokyo Jujutsu High’s Nobara Kugisaki Cosplay
This week we’re headed to ‘Tokyo Jujutsu High’ to learn the cursed techniques with this Nobara Kugisaki cosplayer.
Jujutsu Kaisen was one of the biggest anime hits of the last few years. After a hugely successful first season, the feature film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 came out to an overwhelmingly positive response, and now we’re just waiting on season two.
It was also a show that I was surprised to enjoy as much as I did. At first glance, it looked just a little too dark and edgy. Instead, I found a show that mixed in fun, goofy scenes masterfully for a show that was equal parts high stakes and hilarious. We follow the students of Tokyoi Jujutsu High as they learn to control and hone powers that will make them uniquely suited for protecting the world from curses, monsters, and evil spirits. It gets a little dark, but there’s a decent amount of good old fashion high-school shenanigans mixed in.
And no shortage of shenanigans comes from Nobara Kugisaki. Headstrong, unshakably self-confident, and just a little mean, Nobara is easily one of the most capable members of the team. She’s a character that everybody has a healthy fear of, and this cosplay really drives that home. Nikkita- also known as Scaredy_Cat_Cospaly’s- take on Nobara is pitch perfect. From the expression to the props to the rose makeup you may recognize if you’ve seen the whole season, she completely transforms into a Jujutsi Sorcerer.
