It seems like the Arks of Omen have taken a turn for the positive. Or at least hopeful. Maybe. This is the grimdark afterall and hope isn’t something that sticks around. In any case, check this new Arks of Omen tarot card out for yourself.

The Knight
He stands defiant
His blade reflecting the light
Of a poison sky
Okay…so now we have The Knight. The image is pretty clear here, too. There’s not a whole lot to postulate with this one. We’ve got a knight who’s facing off against a beast. This being 40k related that probably means the beast in the image is a daemon and the knight is probably a Space Marine. In either case this also seems like it’s a new stanza of this whole prophecy. Then again, it could fit right into the previous card’s reading…

Beneath the gaze
Of a newborn star
(The Knight)
He stands defiant
His blade reflecting the light
Of a poison sky
That’s the thing about these sorts of readings though. They all make sense after everything has been revealed. What could it mean? Well, the theory is that this could be the return of the Lion. Or it could be a “new” Loyalist Primarch come to help Guilliman. There’s also the possibility that it’s the return or Primaris’d version of someone else. There’s lots of things it could be a reference to. We’re just going to have to wait and see how this one pans out.
