Warhammer 40K: Kill Team – Gallowfall Revealed
The final Kill Team expansion for the Gallowdark series is coming. Gallowfall is bringing the story to an crashing conclusion.
We’ve known the title for a while now but Games Workshop finally showed off the contents of the final chapter in the Kill Team Saga that is the Gallowdark series. With this last chapter it’s time to abandon ship or get caught in it’s destructive wake!
Gallowfall Revealed
The Kill Team: Gallowfall box features two more Kill Teams with a new Leagues of Votann crew, the Hearthkyn Salvagers, fighting against the Chaos Beastmen of the Fellgor Ravagers.
Hearthkyn Salvagers
The cool thing about this kit is that it builds on the existing Hearthkyn sprues with some more options. In this case we can see some really cool upgrades like a Jump-pack and some laser-charged knuckledusters! I can’t wait to see the rules for these warriors. I’m also excited to see what this could mean for future updates to the Leagues of Votann army in terms of new units and wargear.
Fellgor Ravagers
Once again the Chaos Beastmen return! The last time we saw them in 40k properly was in the Blackstone Fortress. This new batch looks even more detailed with a lot of cool options and doodads. Each Beastman is also a specialist so you can be sure they are going to be packing a punch with a lot of strange upgrades. You might want to avoid lokcing horns with these Beastmen up close if you can help it!
Gallowfall Terrain
The terrain in the set is also an new collection of Gallowdark terrain with more unique features. There’s escape pods, medpods, and even a med-bay set of battlezone features that will play into the campaign and narrative. Speaking of the narrative, this set is described as the last 10 minutes of an action movie where the ship is falling and the protagonist are trying to get to the exits before it’s too late. The ship is crashing into the planet below and it literally do or die time on the Gallowdark!
