Warhammer 40K Meta Hotness: Infernal Enrapturess
The Infernal Enrapturess fully embraces the sweet kiss of Slaanesh – and is the new 40K Meta Hotness.
As players continue to mess with Chaos Daemons and figure out some powerful new lists the Slaanesh builds start to writhe across the tabletops. A mixture of speed and damage potential makes these builds pretty interesting, even though they lost the ability to Advance and Charge in the new edition.
The Infernal Enrapturess is one of those new models released in the last few years that always sat in a weird place in daemon builds. Initially, it was used in some Possessed bombs at the end of the CSM book, and then it kind of sat there playing some lonely songs in the goth nightclub that is the Daemon book. But for those players willing to fully embrace the sweet kiss of Slaanesh this model brings a whole new world to their twirling army of creeps.
Infernal Enrapturess 101
Basically, this model is a Herald, a piece of anti-psychic tech, a weird Healer, and a Warp Locus. The last one is the most interesting as all the other Warp Locus in this book ends up being attached to special character super-daemons and this Slaanesh one is wrapped up in a nice little hideable body. A body that moves very fast and can get close to the enemy to help drop out Daemonettes and other fun things close.
Healing With the Sweet Sounds of a Flesh Harp
The other crazy thing the Infernal Enrapturess does is that it can bring back Core models back to units. In the command phase, this model can bring back a “dead” model to a CORE unit or d3 models to a CORE infantry unit. This means you can bring back a Fiend or a few Daemonettes as needed. This is a huge piece of tech on a cheap little HQ unit with a ton of upside among its abilities.
Anti-Psychic Tech
The model also causes Perils of the Warp on any double within 24” of the Infernal Enrapturess. Sure, it isn’t a great anti-psyker bit of tech, but there will be games where you cause a few Mortal wounds to those casters trying to get a Warp Ritual off and gather those precious Secondary Points.
Oh Yeah, the Infernal Enrapturess is a Herald Too!
That’s right, it even gives those CORE units a reroll 1 to wound as well. On top of that its Harp can also shoot an Assault Lascannon like attack which is just even more icing on top of a creepy purple cupcake of seductive deliciousness.

The boy general John Lennon from Art of War took this list to an event and won with his sheer crush of Slaanesh bodies. The Enrapturesses were a major part of his list as they healed all parts of his army, allowed for some really close deep strikes, and just helped keep the party rolling.

Enrapturess the Musician of Death!
The Enrapturess is a piece of powerful tech in the Chaos Daemon book. Beyond just being part of a Pure Slaanesh rush, they can also show up in Be’lakor builds as a method to throw the King of Daemon Princes himself around the table top and create very easy-to-hit charges.
