The new Seraphon Army Box is dropping this weekend but how many points are included for a new starter army? It’s math time!
I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty excited about the new Seraphon Army Box. The entire army is looking great and the new sculpts are amazing. I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest of the models! I’ve already built the Slann Starmaster, Raptadons, and Saurus from the box that Games Workshop sent. And since we got the box, I also have the new points which begs the question: How many points ARE included in the Army Box?

10x Raptadon Hunters, which can alternatively be built as Raptadon Chargers
So what are we looking at in points totals?
Slann Starmaster – 275
10x Saurus Warriors – 200
10x Raptadons – 150 per 5, 300 for 10 total
Points Total From The Army Box: 775
The nice thing about the Raptadons is that regardless if they are Raptadon Chargers or Raptadon Hunters, it’s still 150 for 5. Anyhow, this box will net you 775 points worth of Seraphon based on the points included in the new battletome. If you’re wondering why those points are different from the current Battlescroll, it’s because the Battlescroll contains the current points as of publishing. Obviously we’re using the new book which has the updated points and the new units. Those points changes should be live after the Army Box is officially released.
If you’re curious why the Saurus Warriors are double points from what they were from the old (re: current Battlescroll) it’s because the new Saurus Warriors got access to upgrades — and we’re not just talking about better looking models!
