‘Ahsoka’ Trailer Teases Live Action Admiral Thrawn
The first Ahsoka trailer has arrived! The Ghost’s crew has reunited to search for Ezra Bridger – new and familiar enemies await them.

Characters Spotted in the Ahsoka Trailer
Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka isn’t the only character to get hyped about in this trailer. The Ghost’s crew is making the jump to live action, along with one of Star Wars’ most notorious villains.
Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo)
Rebels ended with an epilogue in which Sabine reunites Ahsoka on Lothal and talks about finding Ezra. Based on the dialog in the trailer, it’s been a while since that conversation happened. Maybe Ahsoka has a new lead?
Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead)
The Rebel leader and talented pilot is now a New Republic General. While it looks like she’s in a new ship, she’s still got Chopper by her side, even though he’d likely prefer not to be. This is the second time he’s appeared in live-action Star Wars – he was in Rogue One.
Villians New and Old
Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto)
Morgan was introduced in The Mandalorian. Before the rebellion, she served the Imperial Navy, gathering materials from across the to build starships. Now she serves Thrawn and will do anything to return the Empire to power. Rumor has it; she has some mysterious powers that haven’t been explained.
Baylan (Ray Stevenson) and Shin (Ivanna Sakhno)
Initial rumors had Ivanna Sakhnko playing Ar’alani, but that hasn’t panned out. The story behind these two mysterious force-wielders isn’t known. Based on their lightsabers and attitudes, some theorize that they’re a master and apprentice from the dark side of the force. They could also be long-lost Inquisitors that still serve the ideals of the Empire or are linked to the Nightsisters. We’ll have to wait till the show drops to find out.
Grand Admiral Thrawn (rumored to be Lars Mikkelsen)
His comeback was teased in The Mandalorian, and it’s assumed that he’s a key player in the hint for Ezra. The fact that ‘Heir of the Empire‘ is used here is telling – will the Legends story be brought back into canon?
Other returning characters include Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, David Tennant as the voice of Huyang, and Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader (not sure if it’ll be flashbacks or force ghost).
