Games Workshop has unleashed a new mystery upon us and this one is coming straight out of the mist!

Tuesday is here which means it’s time for another edition of the Games Workshop Rumor Engine. Today’s image is a bit of a creepy one if you’ve ever watched the movie The Mist. Don’t know what I mean? Then check this out:

“The Rumour Engine is all about mystery, but what is the most mysterious shape of all? After hundreds of hours of intense surveys and millions of pounds in research grants, we’ve made an incredible breakthrough.

The most mysterious shape, according to our results, is ‘swirly.’

Quick, Rumour Engine! Give us something swirly.”

Mist Mystery

So this looks like some sort of tendril coming out of the mist. However, I’m not entirely sure what this could be a from. I know the first inclination for me the Tyranids. However, that doesn’t really look like any of the tendrils off of any recognizable Tyranid creatures.

In fact, I think it would be something entirely different and more mystical in nature. At least the mist could be…

Maybe it’s not a Lumineth Realm-lord but it could be something from the Aether Sea…

The Idoneth Deepkin have lots of weird creatures with tendrils and could certainly have some mist-generator thingies.

On the other end of the spectrum let’s not forget about Slaanesh. They have smokey things as well as that weird sort of chitin-segmentation, too. Whatever it is, it’s kinda creepy! If you’ve got any ideas of what it could be drop us a line in the comments and let us know your theory!

Something is definitely in the mist!
