MTG: ‘March of the Machine: Aftermath’ Leaks – Spoilers Ahoy
A massive March of the Machine – Aftermath leak reveals set details well ahead of schedule. Spoilers abound for Magic’s next set.
The internet will have its due. Try as you might to keep something secret, it just seems harder these days. As we see with a massive leak of the not-yet-released March of the Machine: Aftermath set.
In a video, YouTuber oldschoolmtg explains that, when going to pick up “from a buddy” a bunch of 22 March of the Machine boxes, they instead got Aftermath. And an unboxing followed. After that, the rest is history, and the cards went up on the internet forever. Or you know, at least, as long as there is an internet. Which is hopefully a goodly while.
March of the Machine: Aftermath Leaks
First up before we go, this is your spoiler warning. And a reminder to take every leak with a grain of salt, though this one seems pretty legit. It would e an extraordinary amount of effort to try and punk everyone like an Ashton Kutcher from 2006. But hey, it’s possible. Unlikely though.
So let’s take a look at some of the cards.
We can already see there’s a lot of speed at play in the spoilers here. Of course, this batch has all the quality you’d expect in a spoiler. The lighting isn’t quite right. There’s a thumb visible in just about every screengrab. Not the worst way to look at a card, but it may not be your own personal favorite.
One thing to keep in mind is that these are from the collector booster. So you probably won’t even see the whole card set here. Though in the coming days, it seems like there’ll be a pretty big dive through some of the juicier cards.
March of the Machines is still warming on the sill of the release window. So it’s surprising to see the next set get leaked so early. But we do know a little more babout how it all turns out.
From some of these cards, we can see characters ending up on Zhalfir. And we know that, at the end of the MoM storyline, some Planeswalkers had been de-sparked. Perhaps this means Zhalfir is going to end up in some kind of interplanar hub?
Perhaps characters just get re-sparked. Either way, there’s a lot going on in this set.
And this is all just the tip of the iceberg. Much more awaits. So if you like what you’re seeing, get ready for the Aftermath.
What do you think of what we’ve seen so far?
