Reach for the Stars with LEGO Space Age Postcards
Celebrate the sci-fi art of the 1970s and ’80s when you build these LEGO Space Age postcards that are out of this world.
Let your mind drift to the stars while you build these four space-themed 3D postcards. Each depicts scenes inspired by 1980s sci-fi movies, books, and art. Build an observatory for viewing comets and shooting stars. Or a moon base and lunar eclipse, a shuttle blasting through space, and a black hole.
The pink postcard includes star elements that can be arranged to show the Ursa Major, Cepheus, Ursa Minor, or Cassiopeia constellations alongside the shuttle.
This is the latest from LEGO Ideas. The program lets fans collaborate with LEGO master designers to create the sets of their dreams. This one was created by Poland-based LEGO fan designer Jan Woźnica. He was inspired by the sci-fi book covers of his youth.
