In Silo, humanity lives underground to escape the toxic air above. A set of rules and regulations are the only thing between life and death – but what if they’re a lie?

In a dystopian future where the air and land have become toxic, thousands are forced to live in a silo that extends 144 stories beneath the surface. The community follows strict rules and regulations believed to protect them from harm. After the silo’s sheriff breaks one of those rules and residents die mysteriously, engineer Juliette investigates the cause and starts to uncover shocking secrets. What she finds reveals the truth about the silo.

Under a story of environmental collapse is a twisted, dangerous journey to find truth in an underground world built on lies.

If the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.

Silo Cast & Details

The show is based on Hugh Howey’s best-selling sci-fi series, which includes Wool, Shift, and Dust. It was initially developed as a feature film with Ridley Scott a decade back, but it didn’t pan out after Disney bought Fox. It’s finally making it to the screen as a 10-episode series. It’s better for the story than compressing it into two-ish hours. Graham Yost (Justified) is showrunner and wrote the adaptation.

The cast includes Rebecca Ferguson, David Oyelowo, Rashida Jones, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, and Tim Robbins.
